Every day, students in our schools face challenges beyond the classroom. Many come from families struggling to make ends meet, and some even experience homelessness. These students may arrive without proper shoes, warm clothing, or the ability to participate in activities like field trips or school events. No child should feel left out simply because of financial hardship.
Teachers often step in, using their own resources to help, but they shouldn’t have to do it alone. That’s why the DUO (Do Unto Others) Program was created—to ensure that when a student has a need, help is available immediately.
Through DUO, funds have been used to provide essentials like eyeglasses, clothing, backpacks, toiletries, and even athletic gear so students can participate in sports. In urgent situations, families have received temporary shelter, and students have been given the tools they need to succeed in school. With the DUO program, school principals have access to pre-paid funds, allowing them to act quickly when a student needs immediate assistance—without delays or red tape.
DUO is a community-driven initiative that relies on generous donations to continue supporting students in need. Contributions go directly toward providing critical support where it’s needed most. Together, we can make sure every child has what they need to thrive in school and beyond.
DUO is built on the kindness and generosity of people like you. Your support helps families in urgent need, offering them a helping hand when they have nowhere else to turn. Whether you choose to donate, volunteer, or spread the word, every action makes a difference. Together, we can create a stronger, more compassionate community—one family at a time.
"I wholeheartedly recommend the Do Unto Others program to any school or organization seeking effective and compassionate support in meeting the needs of their community. The dedication and generosity demonstrated by DUO are exemplary, and I am grateful for the partnership we have forged to ensure the success and well-being of our students."
